Distance makes the heart grow fonder

A friend of mine once told me that we will truly miss the person once they are far away from you or if they are gone from your life forever.. I guess it makes sense.. When u have lost someone or have not stayed in touch with them, u will start to think of the good times u have with them.. How u yearn for the good times to be made a reality once again... Sometimes with distance, u will truly appreciate that person more as both can learn to discover themselves..

Distance is either good for the person or it might be bad for them.. it depends on the person too choose on how to view it..

Him and Her 3

Then on that fateful month of September, i approach this girl that i had laid eyes on twice.. It was during our recess if i recall. I came to her and started introducing myself formely. For some unknown reason, there wasnt much akwardness when we started talking. Instead we talk casually as if we have met a couple of times. She was witty,fun and exciting to talk with.. I remember talking with her about her mum's fluency in Mandarin and so on( other r private and confidential, hehee). To my surprise, i was sitting close to her which i didnt realise even after we both got up.

This first meeting was an amazing meeting that i ever felt!! I just find it wonderful that i got to know new people.. I was struggling to fit in as i was given quite a culture shock so it is normal that we try to adjust to this new environment.. Anyways, then i felt like i couldnt wait until the next dawn approaches when class starts.. (well,exclude the tensions of my work then i am quite eager)

Him and Her 2

Before we jump to September, i remember an old memory which lay dormant in my mind. I was reading her blog when instantly it came to my thoughts. We were having our nigth class for our English course Bel 120. En Ridzwan,our part time lecturer on this subject has given a task. He said to us to do an interview about our friend and vice versa they interview us as well. I was paired up with Wani,the girl i first met during Mr Kannan's Lab.. I was to interview her about who she is, what she likes and dislikes, and such n such. We were having a great time asking each other random question. I also met another girl named Wani as well, who partnered up Budin. they were in the same area as we were.

Then came the next part of the activity, Presentation!!!! En Ridzwan has instructed us to present our friends details. He told us to present in English.. I was already too excited bout it.. like a child waiting for his toy to be purchased.. Anywho, as i listen to each of my friends present, then the next pair came up. It was the girl Ain introduced to me.. She was presenting about her friend to the class(i forgot who she present to). I was quite impressed with her English from my first judgement. Couldnt help it but her English was good..

When it came my turn, I think i was being rather a show off though.. Speaking with a British like accent, I presented to the class about Wani. En Ridzuan then told me it was Wani's turn to present as i got carried away with myself.. My friends giggled. Then class was over.. We make fast to the comforts of our hostel and slept for the next day.. To be Continued....

Him and Her

During my first sem as the class representative, i thought this job will make me develop a manic depressive disorder or something.. But then i started taking in some control and all was back in track(for the most days). Alongside with me is my trusty assistant Ain, whom i had grown quite close to since we started working together.. Puan Rosilah said that she sees her as the strict one and i the soft one.. Well, both of us cant be too strict or too soft.. It must balance each other..

One faithful day, Ain called out to me from her seat at the middle row... she asked if i was single.. Being blur as usual, i answer yes. She then pointed out to her friend next to her and said that her friend is also single and is looking to find a guy. I then saw her friend making some sort of body signal which i take it quite cooly.. She was cute at first sight.. On that fateful September, I sat next to a girl named, Bashitah.
